Known as the Three Kings, the Three Wise Men, or the Magi, these learned men from the far corners of the ancient world followed the Star of Bethlehem to bear gifts to the infant jesus. Bringing rare and precious gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the newborn Messiah as he lay in a manger in the humble stable of his birth, it was these three wise men who knelt before jesus, mary, and joseph.
