Description

Although they hold quite a "stake" in folklore since even the earliest of days, vampires were made both popular -- and even glamorous -- by the likes of Bram Stoker, Bella Lugosi, and many others who have given life to the undead in literature and on the silver screen. Sleeping in a crypt by day and wishing to drink the blood of the living to survive, being a vampire can be a pretty messy affair. Fear not, though, creatures and children of the night! Turning into a vampire this Halloween is as simple as choosing the right costume without any bloody mess or having to run into any pesky Nosferatu lurking at your local cemetery.

Gentlemen looking for something a little more Lestat than Bela Lugosi can choose from a variety of eye-catching styles of vampire attire. The victorian Vampire costume comes with a lacy white neck ruffle and matching cuffs; a gold medallion to mesmerize your intended victims with; a long, elegant black cape, and a gold metallic vest.

Ladies also have a variety of options to pull off their own vampires look. Scare up some beautiful blood countess couture with the Gothic Hoop Vampiress costume. This gorgeous costume package comes with a deep red corset-style bodice. Matching red bows adorn the attached black skirt. A separate piece to go underneath the dress, a full hoop skirt makes the dress (and you!) stand out n an ornate, turn-of-the-century style. Also included are black elbow-length glovelettes and a red satin stand-up collar with attached choker.

Don't forget to add some white face paint and fake blood for that oh-so-undead look that's in this Halloween season!

Some traditions never die. No matter how many stakes you may try to drive through it's undead little heart, the Vampire is a classic costuming choice, rooted in ancient folklore and modern folklore. Ranging from sinister and scary to seductive and sexy, there is bound to be a vampire costume to suit your particular tastes and won't break your (blood) bank.

Go for the classical men's vampire look in the vein of Bela Lugosi's interpretation of dracula. Included is a long, black cape with stand-up black collar and lined in burgandy panne velvet and a matching burgundy vest with attached white sleeves ending in lace cuffs. Also included is a matching white, lace neck frill to complete the ornate, gothic look.

For a complimentary ladies' look, there is the vampira costume, alluring to all creatures of the night. Complete with a burgundy panne velvet dress with fishtail hem and a front-closure black jacquard corset, and attached black velvet stand-up collar and black, velvet choker.

Add a little "bite" to your vampire costume with some fake blood, pale facepaint makeup, or a long, black wig!
