One of the most enduring symbols of freedom, the Statue of Liberty is the first thing immigrants at Ellis Island see upon their entry into the United States. A gift from France to America in 1886, Lady Liberty stands 305 feet in the air and is made of 31 tons of copper. Lugging around that much copper isn't necessary, however, to recreate a great Statue of Liberty costume. Available in sizes to fit adults and children, various Statue of Liberty costumes come complete with a one piece robe/toga in an oxidized shade of green, gathered and draped for the effect of that seen on the statue. Also included is a crown of spikes and a Liberty torch. Carry a large tome under your arm to be able to strike a distinct pose.
