An important part of any theatrical retelling of the story of the first christmas, the shepherds were among the first to be told by the Archangel Gabriel that the infant Christ child had just been born. In a variety of sizes and styles to fit both children and adults, there are several different types of shepherd costumes to give each one featured in your play a unique look and fill out the stage with a dazzling display of color.

Each traditional, Biblical shepherd's costume comes complete with a full, floor-length robe in either solid colors or stripes in a multitude of colors. Also included is a long, shepherd's headdress in a complimentary color with a band to secure it to your own head. Purchase or make your own shepherd's crook separately to add even more detail to your costume.
