John Rambo is a force to be reckoned with. A former Green Beret and Vietnam Vet, Rambo was a P.O.W. who mastered the art of war and survival. Played by Sylvester Stallone, while seen as something of a broad -- even extreme -- caricature of Vietnam Vets with post-traumatic stress disorder, Rambo is a resourceful hero with an edge.

Thanks to the new film "Rambo" with Stallone starring yet again as the tough as nails title character, Rambo has seen a resurgence in popularity. While no officially licensed Rambo costumes are currently available, "when you're pushed, costuming as Rambo's as easy as breathing." If you're not tan enough, grab some fake n' bake rays or even a bottle of man-tan to give you that fresh-from-the-jungle sheen. Add a dab or two of camouflage style face paint. Plop on a black wig (a mullet hairstyle wig could work) and tie on a black bandana. Either cargo or camo pants with a pair of combat boots and a black or olive-green beater will help complete your look. Stuff a fake hunting knife in your boot, and accessorize with a toy machine gun and bullet bandolero belt!
