One of the largest countries in the Americas, Mexico is full of rich cultural traditions and a history that dates back thousands of years with Aztec civilization. If you're dressing for a heritage pride parade or celebrating Cinco de Mayo in your school, or just having a Cinco de Mayo party at your own casa, there are tons of costumes to ease you into the Mexican way. Dress as an Aztec Warrior with a feathered headdress, or, if you happen to be musically talented (or not) try on mens' and women's Mariachi costumes and rove around with your instrument! For a more modern representation of great figures in Mexican history, dress as the famed artist, Frida Kahlo by adding a unibrow to a traditional Mexican folk dress and shawl. Another more modern choice for men would be to don the mask of a Luchador, a masked Mexican wrestler. Sometimes, however, a simple serape and sombrero will do! The choice is yours, so long as you fiesta with the besta them!
