Description

Hanukah, the Festival of Lights, is among the most important of all Jewish holidays. Celebrating the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem, the Miracle of Hanukah occurred thousands of years ago. Celebrating the restoration of the desecrated Temple, initially, the priests thought that they only had enough oil to light candles for one night. Miraculously, the oil and candlelight lasted for nine days, enough time for the priests to prepare and consecrate more oil. Celebrating the re-consecration of the temple and the victory of opposing forces, Hanukah is all about the triumph of spirit and worthwhile sacrifice.

Celebrate Hanukah with costumes to re-enact the story of the first Hanukah. Or, wear a festive Hanukah apron in bright blue trimmed in gold with a gold, embroidered menorah on the front. Perfect for preparing a variety of delicious and traditional kosher dishes for your family for your own holiday celebration.
