Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, among the frolicking, cheerful creatures, there lives the mopey, yet kindly Eeyore. In A.A. Milne's classic children's stories about winnie the pooh and his friends -- and most recognizably in the Walt disney series of cartoons -- the downcast Eeyore is a contrast to the hyperactive tigger and the adventurous Pooh and Piglet. No less innocent or charming, the monotone Eeyore has a hard time keeping track of his tail. More often than not, his friends help him find it and pin it back on.
