Description

The beloved classic series of children's books by author C.S. Lewis, the Chronicles of Narnia focused on the four Pevensie children -- peter, Lucy, Susan, and Edmund -- during the time of WWII in war-torn England. In "The lion, The witch, and The Wardrobe," first book of this series which was made into a major motion picture, the Pevensie brothers and sisters manage to escape the turmoil in Europe through an enchanted wardrobe. This wardrobe is a gateway to a magical land known as Narnia which is under a spell of tyranny thanks to an evil witch queen. The Pevensie children must free the magical world of Narnia with the help of the kingly talking lion, Aslan.

Returning for a second round at the box office, the Chronicles of Narnia continues with the tale of "prince caspian." Many familiar faces from the first book and movie are present in this latest installment.

Children may want to re-enact their favorite scenes from the film with character costumes and accessories. Boys can dress up as Peter in his warrior mode, complete with a suit of armor, sword, and shield -- officially licensed products under the Chronicles of Narnia banner.
