Bumblebee is the "little brother" of the Autobots, the good guys of the transformers' universe. Eager to please and to prove himself, particularly to the Autobots' leader, optimus prime, Bumblebee is usually depicted as a yellow car. In the original cartoon, he was seen as a yellow Volkswagon, a compact car more in keeping with his smaller size ration in comparison to the other Autobots. In the new live-action transformers' series, Bumblebee was upgraded with the body of a sleek, '76 yellow Camaro.
