Some costumes come "no-strings attached." That's not necessarily the case with a Pinocchio costume, however. Created by the kindly toy- and puppet-maker, Gepetto, Pinocchio was a wooden puppet who desperately wanted to become a real boy. Aided in his quest to become real, Pinocchio was visited by the good Blue Fairy who will grant him his wish, if he becomes brave and honest. As visual proof of his honesty -- or lackthereof -- Pinocchio's nose grows if he lies!
